John H. "Captain Jack" Sitter He was in the
United States Coast Guard from 1943 until 1946. He then received
his bachelor of arts from Lake Forest College in 1950, his
bachelor of science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in
1958 and his masters in 1963 from University of
Wisconsin-Oshkosh and University of Wisconsin-Superior. He owned
a furniture store from 1952 until 1958 and then was
a teacher in Ripon until
1981. He traveled
around the world four times, he loved boating and that is where
he gained the nickname “Captain Jack,” and he enjoyed skiing and
camping. |
