Diane Gail (Prellwitz) Stephens
March 1, 1947 - August 5, 2012

At 2:12pm on the 5th day of August 2012, Diane Gail (Prellwitz) Stephens, after a long battle against cancer, achieved the peace she so richly deserved. She was the daughter of Robert A. and Barbara (Mickle) Prellwitz being born March 1, 1947.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clyde “Steve” Stephens; sons, Brent Stephens and Colton Stephens; daughters, Beth Worthington and Lisa Brownlee; nine grandchildren, Elyesha Flynn, Kylie Asher, Lane Asher, Audra Stephens, Samuel Stephens, Lauren Coronado, Lindsey Stephens, Caleb Stephens and Brandon Powers; and two great- grandchildren, Dakota Flynn and Devin Stephens. She is also survived by her mother; sisters, Sue Leitz, Jayne Plagenz, Barb LeGalt and Robyn Burton; and brother, Robert John Prellwitz, all of Ripon, Wis.

Diane was a veteran of the United States Air Force where she served her country at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She spent all her life giving her best to her family and the mentally handicapped. Her most recent employment was in serving the community of need at the San Antonio State School.

Private services with her immediate family were accomplished at the Finch Funeral Chapel in LaVernia, Texas. She was laid to rest at the St. Ann’s Cemetery in LaVernia, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 10086 Toledo, Ohio 43699.
