Harold
C. Krueger Jr., age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 16,
2012, at his home in Ripon.Harold was born on January 29, 1930, in Mayville, WI, the son of Harold and Irma (Kliefoth) Krueger Sr. He graduated from Mayville High School. Harold married Inez Qualmann of rural Iron Ridge, WI. He went on to further his education at UW La Crosse for his Bachelor’s Degree and then to UW Stout and received his Masters. Harold taught in the Eau Claire and Ripon School Districts for over 40 years as a High School Gym and Health teacher and he coached Tennis and Football. He also served our country in the United States Navy Reserve during the Korean Conflict. Harold was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon and the American Legion. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.
Survivors include his son, Thomas (Nicko Knutson) Krueger of Crosby, MN. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Inez and his brother, Del Krueger.
Visitation for Harold Krueger will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, from 10 – 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 Mt. Zion Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial service for Harold Krueger will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Pastor Dennis Meier will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date. A memorial is being established.
